Prelims are just in front of me, I can see it. It won’t be long before I see the end of the 3 weeks too. And then it’s a race for the finish for A Levels.

Pole vault and long jump! Exciting, exciting. Of course, the weekend saw the world’s fastest man being crowned, and that was absolutely exciting. Sunday was the table tennis women’s gold medal match, and while China was one notch above little Singapore, we still got the silver, and we’re now on the medal tally table! :D
Preliminary examinations start this wednesday, and my poor brain has been overworked as doomsday looms ahead. It seems that my brain is already oversaturated, and it’s taking a lot of effort to ensure nothing leaks out.

I’m a bit bummed that the USA didn’t pick Lochte to swim for the medley (backstroke), but LOCHTE GOLD WR IN 200 BACK SO AHDJSKASDL THE FANGIRL IS HAPPY.
Olympics has been a blast, but with only 2 days to go for prelims, it’s time to pick up the books.
I refuse to go to church and miss national day parade.
If I have to go to church during NDP I rather not go to church at all.

My hands hurt. Specifically the fingers on my left hand. ): So, playing the acoustic (folk) guitar after 2 years of playing (acoustic style) on the classical, my fingers are anything but used to the extremely painful steel strings.
I also regret not learning how to properly use a pick, because in the case of various songs, I need the pick. ):
I have condensed my song choice list into a much smaller and more concise one.
1. Collide (if I just figure out how to sing the second verse!) (guitar)
2. The World I Know (guitar)
3. Apologize (piano)
4. True Colors (only if I manage to figure out the verse by Sunday, latest.) (piano)
5. Backup: Now and Then (piano)
I don’t really want to sing Apologize because it is by far the most overplayed song in the Singapore shops.
I have to record by Monday, and post out on Tuesday, Wednesday might be pushing the dateline a bit. So Tuesday it will be. Hence the stupid Monday dateline, rawr.
I will treat myself to bubble tea if I pass this stage for the auditions.
